Villa Mukinja is located in the centre of Plitvice Lakes National Park, a 10-minute walk from the lakes. It offers free Wi-Fi and free access to the sauna and hot tub. Travel Information

You can get there either from Zagreb or from the Adriatic coast along D-1 motorway.

Arriving from Zagreb
- When you are in Zagreb, get on the highway A1 Zagreb - Karlovac
- Get off the highway just before Karlovac (you will notice brown sign "Plitvicka Jezera", which shows direction to Plitvice lakes) - from that point you have around 86km on the road D1
- When you are in Karlovac follow the main road (D1), and drive to Plitvicka jezera (Plitvice lakes)
- Once you get to Plitvicka Jezera drive past Entrance 1 (Jezero Hotel) and Entrance 2 (Bellevue and Plitvice Hotels). After another 1 km, at the village of Plitvicka Jezera turn right just past the small bus stop
- Continue driving 50 metres to the Y-intersection near the village map - that is entrance to our village "Mukinje"
- Turn right at Y, proceed driving for 150 metres past first turning to left, drive another 100 metres and take that turning to left just in front of the old house which was the post office before. After another 50 metres you will reach the Villa Mukinja which will be on your left side.

The house is located in a quiet area and is surrounded by lush greenery. It is far enough from the motorway and closest to the lakes.

Arriving from the Adriatic
15 km after the town of Korenica and Borje Motel you will get to Jezerce. Keep driving for another mile. Turn left where there is the sign «Plitvicka Jezera». Once you have entered the village follow the map or the instructions above.
